ABOUT THE BUILDING > BUILDING SYSTEMS > LIGHTING

Building Standard Lighting Fixture
The building standard lighting fixture is a 20x48 inch lay in fixture recessed into the 20x60 inch ceiling module. The fixture incorporates a high efficiency electronic ballast with two T8 flourescent lamps and a deep cell parabolic louvre. The lighting system meets or exceeds the IES Standard RP-1 for office lighting and produces a minimum desk top illumination level of 50 foot candles (540 lux).

Building Standard Distribution
The building standard lighting fixtures are distributed on an "open plan" basis and aligned parallel to the elevator lobby. The lighting fixtures may be relocated to optimize tenant lighting plans at the tenant's expense.

Lighting Controls
All lighting is controlled by the building automation system (BAS) computer. The BAS computer switches lighting on and off to coincide with tenant and custodial schedules. When the lighting is required outside the computer-controlled schedule, all lights may be turned on manually by the tenant.
