Ample
parking and convenient access to public transportation make commuting
to and from Bentall 5 easy.
Underground
Parking
Parking for Bentall 5 is provided directly beneath the building
in a 975 stall underground parkade. The parkade was
originally completed
by Bentall Development Services in 1994 and subsequently expanded
during the construction of the low-rise of the building.
The
parking ratio for tenants will be one parking stall per 1,200 square
feet of rentable area leased. Random and reserved parking stalls
will be available at prevailing monthly rates.
Beyond
these monthly tenant parking stalls, there are approximately 400
parking stalls that have been provided by the City of Vancouver. Additional monthly stalls are available here but, in addition, this will ensure that both tenants and visitors to the building will always have access to ample parking beneath the building.
Additional
Parking
Access to additional transient parking is available directly across
Burrard Street in either of the two existing Bentall Centre parkades
or in any of the several parkades within a short walking distance
from Bentall 5.
Public
Transportation
Bentall 5 is located diagonally across the street from the Burrard
Street station of Vancouver's automated light rapid transit (ALRT)
system. The ALRT system also connects with the SeaBus servicing
the north shore of Vancouver, and the West Coast Express servicing
the eastern suburbs of Vancouver.
In
addition, a major hub for suburban transit buses coming into the
downtown core is located just outside the existing Bentall Centre
on Dunsmuir Street.
The proposed Richmond, Airport, Vancouver Line (RAV) will have its terminus at Waterfront Station, two blocks northeast of Bentall 5.
